Olympic’s flexible MS Word add-in just got better!

We are pleased to announce the release of version 3.0 of our Flexible Word export add-in for MindManager.

The latest version has been re-developed to provide even more flexibility and give users full access to ALL Word Styles in their templates as well as custom styles they create/add. It also works in a smoother manner with different language versions of MS Word/Office.

The new version is also Task Pane driven and his means the add-in is available for all Pro versions of MindManager from MindManager Pro 6!

You trial OPTi-Word for 14 days and licence options include single, five and ten user formats and we will of course be happy to look at any larger volumes on a case by case basis to provide the best offer we can.

OPTi-P2 Version 2.0

We are pleased to announce the release of version 2.0 of OPTi-P2 for MindManager.

OPTi-P2 for MindManagerOur flagship MindManager solution has just had some major improvements to now offer far more user customisation and control over your PRINCE® projects. This new version also sees OPTi-P2 become truly International with releases planned for other languages which include German (due by 31st October), French, Dutch, Danish and Swedish.

My Schema IconVersion 2 introduces a new My Schema feature that allows you to create and customise project schemas which can then be re-used when creating projects. Schema’s let you use other document formats other than the current Microsoft Office formats of Word and Excel. Now you can use PDF’s, RTF’s Open Office formats and more. My Schema also lets you add your own tailored guidance/reference material alongside the official OGC content when you need to.

Other improvements include redesigned maps incorporating quick navigation topics, faster Health Check refreshing, better project file management together with a more flexible code framework for future enhancements.

A new look…

…a new focus.

Welcome to our new website. Our new site will focus more on MindManager and ways in which you can enhance its already powerful features to do more and maximise your return on investment.

Moving forward towards 2012 we will be extending our OPTi-Solutions of MindManager add-ins with both updated versions of OPTi-P2, OPTi-Word, OPTi-Q, OPTi-Docs and we will also be releasing a NEW project management add-in later this year so make sure you are signed up to our periodic Newsleter to be notified when these changes and new additions take place.

MindManager 2012 will release on 22nd September and Olympic will have details about this coming release in the next few days as we approach launch of this next version of the market leading information mapping software.

Whilst our focus will remain based around MindManager we will of course continue to offer other high quality productivity tools such as Goalscape and ABBYY products.

Flexible Export to Microsoft® Word from MindManager®

OPTi-Word for MindManagerOPTi-Word™ for MindManager is the latest addition to Olympic’s OPTi-Range of add-ins that extend MindManager. This new add-in provides quick and flexible export of Map content without requiring specific Map Topic structure as is the case with the native MindManager export.

OPTi-Word-Export-Icon

OPTi-Word™ uses Custom Map Marker Icons to “Tag” Map Topics with specific Word Styles for any given Word Template. Users can create and edit Word Templates stored with the add-in to create a range of selectable Templates that can be chosen when an export is started.

MMDevX™ – A Great New MindManager® Resource!

As some of you will no doubt already be aware Olympic recently launched a new website dedicated to developers of  MindManager® Add-ins and Solutions called MMDevX™.

The site is a showcase for add-ins from developers around the world and aims to list all currently supported add-ins that we are aware of. There are currently over 35 add-ins that work with a range of MindManager® versions from MindManager® Pro 6 upwards and we are actively searching out more to add over the coming months.

Pay the site a visit and sign up to the MMDevX Twitter account to get notified when new add-ins are inlcuded and current ones are updated.
